Hi
Heavy Rescue training and response has been divided for many years, with some excellent training providers trying to lead the way. Over the years the subject seems to appear and then disappear. Nationally we seem to be doing the best we can with little direction, and in a lot of cases bad or dangerous practice is being taught or carried out.
What is the solution, the old mindset of knowledge is power without sharing it needs to go, it is of no use to the trapped casualty. The sharing of best practice is key, we need to analyse what we do and how we can best develop our practices to form a safer more effective approach.
What do you think?
Jon
