Hi All
Something to think about, what are your thoughts?
Rescue tools are developing at a rate of knots and so to are Electrical rescue tools, be it cordless or generator. Hand tools have also been greatly advanced over the years.
So the question being, do we solely rely on hydraulics as the ultimate rescue tool or perhaps re visit the battery powered tools such as reciprocating saws, metal shears and hand tools like the 'come along tool' these are just some of those available.
I have managed some very good space creation evolutions with most of these and like the thought of using all if available.
So do we favour one type or all?
Let me know your thoughts
Cheers
John

There seems to be some good movements in the use of Impact Wrenches, so much can be achieved on a vehicle with one of these, we call it "non destructive" space creation. if you have some basic knowledge of how cars are constructed it is such a valuable tool for removing tailgates, doors if the hinges are suited, seats and so on.
When looking at these how do we decide which is best, as a rule for us we chose to look at ones that could undo a wheel nut, this gave us a benchmark when trialling the different models and makes.
Do you use them, what are your thoughts.
