Hi
When creating space such as a roof removal or flap, how often do you remove the doors to aid side access and reduce trip hazards, quite often we are trying to remove the roof whilst trying to walk around the doors that are stuck open.
Would you just work around them or plan to remove them to aid the extrication?

Side extrication is so often the answer to effective rapid ex... it seems a waste not to remove atleast the working side. But I do often see people choosing the easy option.

I agree Matt
So many times we see this ignored, sometimes the removal of the doors and B-pillar on the working side can make a huge difference, the only point is the time frame, if it benefits the rescue lets get it completed but a fine line between tasks for the sake of it and tasks that promote a casualty based rescue
